THE MEGA RALLY AND GRAND ALLIANCE OF PDP AND APM
History was made today in Oyo State as political momentum continued to rise across the nation. At the historic Mapo Hall, Ibadan, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, officially declared his intention to contest for the Presidency under the joint alliance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Addressing thousands of supporters, party faithful, traditional leaders, and political stakeholders who flooded the venue, Governor Makinde delivered a strong message of hope and unity, declaring:
“Let’s Return Power To The People.”
The mega rally, which attracted a massive crowd under the Omituntun movement, was widely regarded as a major political statement ahead of the coming elections. The atmosphere at Mapo Hall reflected unity, strength, and growing support for the PDP–APM alliance.
During his address, Governor Makinde also announced that members of the Omituntun movement and several aspirants for various political offices would align with the APM platform in preparation for the forthcoming elections.
Today’s rally marks a significant moment in Oyo State’s political history and further positions the PDP–APM alliance as a formidable force on the national stage.
