I almost didn’t make the trip.
When I was preparing to travel from Enugu to Anambra for a production job, the fear was heavy.
The roads weren't safe.
The anxiety was so real that, for the first time in my creative career, I traveled unusually light, leaving behind heavy gear I would normally never compromise on.
On the way, passing deserted cars left on the roadside only confirmed my fears. My heart was in my mouth the entire journey.
But God saw me through. We reached the set, delivered, and made it back safely.
Every struggle, uncertainty, and risky decision I’ve faced in this industry, including that exact journey - inspired this concept.
In creative direction and in life, you don’t always get a smooth board to play on. You deal with risk, timing, and moves you have to make under immense pressure. But no matter how unpredictable the terrain gets, positioning and strategy are everything.
When you look at these frames, I hope you see more than just a clean studio shoot. I hope you see composure earned through real trials.
Grateful for another year of life, the grace that covers me, and the courage to keep taking calculated moves.
