Edo residents Hails Governor Okpeholo As Flyover Project Nears Completion
Residents, traders, transport operators and scout groups around the Ramat Park axis of Benin City have commended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, over the near completion of the Ramat Park Flyover Bridge, describing it as a transformative project for transportation and economic activities in the state capital.
The flyover, one of the signature projects of the Okpebholo administration, is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve vehicular movement along the busy Ikpoba Hill–Ramat Park corridor.
Speaking during an excursion to the project site, Scout Leader, Pastor William Iseghale, said the project reflects purposeful leadership and will enhance road safety, improve traffic flow and give Benin City a more modern Outlook
Traders and commercial drivers also praised the project, noting that despite initial inconveniences caused by construction, the flyover will reduce travel time, boost business activities and bring lasting benefits to residents.
The Ramat Park Flyover, regarded as the first of its kind in Edo State, is also expected to address flooding challenges through the provision of supporting drainage infrastructure.
