The Lion Within is my special tribute to Barrister Seyi Tinubu, , and his wife, Mrs. Layal Tinubu, . This artwork was created with over 35,000 nails, hammered with purpose and precision to express the true leadership, values, strength, and character I believe they carry within themselves. It represents the sense of responsibility, courage, and compassion that continues to inspire many young Nigerians and gives courage to a new generation of leaders.
This is the second artwork I am gifting to . My first artwork was created to portray the enormous burden he carries as a first son, the sacrifices, responsibilities, and moments of pleasure he may have had to leave behind. Rather than being consumed by the privileges that can come with political influence and power, I wanted to highlight the way I see him choosing to remain productive, responsive, and caring toward many Nigerian youths and, indeed, people across different generations.
Mrs. Layal Tinubuโs posture in this artwork represents the peace, understanding, and strength she brings to the table. She is not just a wife; she is a woman of value and integrity, reflected through loyalty, love, and support. I admire the love and relationship they share, as well as what I perceive as their kindness toward people, children, and humanity at large.
Words may never be enough to express everything this artwork represents. But I believe in true value, I recognize character, and I respect genuine leadership. The Lion Within speaks of courage, strength, responsibility, and the duties of kingship that lie within Barrister Seyi Tinubu.
