MKAN OGUN ILAQA HOLDS 2026 ANNUAL NATIONAL WORKSHOP
Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ogun Ilaqa, successfully held its Annual National Workshop on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th January 2026 at the Ayetoro Central Mosque, Joga, Ayetoro Dil‘a, with members drawn from across the state in attendance.
The programme commenced with an opening address by the State Qaid, Bro. Saa‘id Idowu Adetomisola, who presented records of past Annual National Workshops and highlighted the progress achieved over the years. He appreciated all participants and invited guests for their presence and continued support toward the growth of MKAN Ogun Ilaqa.
The well-structured programme involved insightful lectures, a marriage seminar, interactive questions and answers sessions, and other educative activities aimed at strengthening moral values, leadership skills, and overall personal development. Khuddam members from all thirteen districts across Ogun State participated actively, with each district well represented by a reasonable number of attendees, reflecting unity and commitment within the Ilaqa.
The workshop featured Lecture One titled “Moral Discipline, Brotherhood and Emotional Intelligence in Majlis Life,” delivered by Maulvi Nabeel Ahmad Oyekola. The lecture was highly impactful, addressing self-discipline, emotional awareness, mutual respect, and the importance of strong brotherhood in Majlis life.
Lecture Two titled “Leadership as Trust: Accountability of Qaid, Naibeen and Aamila,” delivered by Alhaji Muh. Salih Akewugberu, emphasized leadership as a trust from Allah and highlighted accountability, integrity, and sincerity in the discharge of responsibilities.
The marriage seminar and questions and answers sessions further enriched the programme, providing practical guidance and interactive engagement. Throughout the workshop, several valuable pieces of advice were shared on religious commitment and personal growth, leaving lasting lessons for participants.
The event was graced by respected personalities, including the Circuit President, Pa Bakare Sabin; Circuit Missionary, Alhaji Bankole M. Jamiu; Vice Circuit President, Alhaji Olaonipekun M. Jamiu; Pa Daud Idowu; Pa Salako Rafiu, the Ayetoro Jama’at President, and other distinguished members of the Jama’at.
Overall, the Annual National Workshop recorded notable success, making a positive impact on participants and reinforcing values that promote moral discipline, responsible leadership, social harmony, and service to humanity.
