SENANGA NORTH UPND CONSTITUENCY CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA ON HIS MASSIVE ELECTORAL VICTORY

The United Party for National Development (UPND) in Senanga North Constituency, through the Constituency Party Chairperson, wishes to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the Republican President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, on his resounding victory in the just-concluded General Elections.
On behalf of the entire Senanga North UPND constituency leadership, party structures, members, supporters and residents, we congratulate President Hichilema on receiving a renewed mandate from the Zambian people to continue leading our country towards greater development, economic transformation and prosperity.
We further wish His Excellency President Hichilema a successful, peaceful and powerful inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, 1st September 2026. This historic occasion marks not only the beginning of another mandate, but also a renewed opportunity to consolidate the development gains being recorded across the country.
A NEW CONSTITUENCY FOR SENANGA
The Senanga North UPND leadership commends President Hakainde Hichilema for the creation of Senanga North Constituency, following the delimitation of Senanga District into two constituencies.
We recognise this as an important milestone that brings representation and development opportunities closer to our people. The creation of Senanga North is a demonstration that government listens to the aspirations of citizens and is committed to ensuring effective representation and equitable development.
APPRECIATION TO THE PEOPLE OF SENANGA NORTH
We sincerely thank the people of Senanga North for appreciating the leadership and development agenda of President Hichilema by voting for him and overwhelmingly supporting the UPND.
We are equally grateful to the electorate for entrusting the UPND with the parliamentary seat by electing Hon. Brian Manyika Ndumba as the first Member of Parliament for Senanga North Constituency.
This victory is not merely a political achievement. It is a vote of confidence in the UPND's development agenda and a call for service, unity and accountability.
We assure the people of Senanga North that the work now begins. The election is behind us, and our focus must be on development, unity and improving the lives of our people.
COMMENDATION TO UPND STRUCTURES AND YOUTHS
The Constituency Party Chairperson also wishes to commend all UPND men and women who worked tirelessly before, during and after the elections.
Special recognition goes to the young people in the constituency, whose energy, commitment and determination contributed significantly to the mobilisation efforts.
In particular, we commend George Chisola, the Constituency Vice Secretary, and Brian Kasuka- Mobilization Team for their spirited mobilisation efforts and dedication to the party's campaign.
Their commitment demonstrates that when young people are given responsibility and an opportunity to serve, they can make a meaningful contribution to the political and developmental transformation of their communities.
We also recognise the efforts of all ward structures, Branch leaders, volunteers, campaign teams, women, men and youths who worked as one team towards this historic victory.
NOW THE REAL WORK BEGINS
As we celebrate this victory, we must remember that elections are only the beginning. The people have entrusted us with responsibility, and that responsibility must now translate into development, unity, service delivery and tangible improvements in the lives of our communities.
The Senanga North UPND Constituency remains committed to working with President Hakainde Hichilema, the Government, Hon. Brian Manyika Ndumba, traditional leadership and all stakeholders to advance development in Senanga North and the wider Senanga District.
We therefore call upon all residents of Senanga North, regardless of political affiliation, to unite and work together for the development of our constituency.
Politics may divide us during elections, but development must unite us after elections.
Once again, we congratulate His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema on his historic victory and wish him a successful inauguration.
The people have spoken. The mandate has been renewed. Now, the work of building a stronger, more prosperous Zambia continues.
