“The love of a parent asks for nothing in return, yet gives everything it has.”

That day was scorching hot — the sun was burning, and we had to walk about 20 minutes to reach the photo spot. As expected, the kids couldn’t stand the heat, so their father carried them in his arms, along with some extra sweat gifted by both the sun and the little ones.

Edward, the older brother, counted every single meter we walked. I felt he was trying to calm his younger brother down while reminding everyone that we were getting closer to our goal.

And yes, we made it. Despite the cruel sun, the session turned out fun. Thanks to the unconditional love from their parents, the kids felt secure — and in no time, they were all smiles and incredibly cooperative throughout the shoot.

Hong Kit and Serene are from the same hometown — Banting. Serene always thought she knew almost everyone around her age in town… but she had never met Hong Kit. That surprise made their first encounter even more special.

Fate brought them together during a camping trip, and that’s where their love story quietly began — under the stars, surrounded by nature, and destined to grow ever since.

And of course, a big thanks to the friend who brought Hong Kit to that camping trip — the quiet hero who sparked it all.
