Hi, how have you guys been? Good I hope, especially in the midst of this pandemic. I've been trying to keep myself busy mostly with activities related to PPTS (Persatuan Pemuzik Tempatan Selangor). Location NOT a studio. Just a shoot at subject's very lovely home. With my AD600bm strobe as primary lighting & Godox V860ii as secondary. Had to post-edit that funky texture into the background sebab actually ternampak plug elektrik kat belakang haha, tak boleh nak edit out :p Well, one had to improvise when one screws up la kan... 😅

Did a Xmas food photography for a dear client recently. Just a simple single strobe setup but I loved how it panned out. Client seem pleased with the results too. I got to sample nearly all of the food (hantam kaw kaww was the more appropriate picture really). What's not to love about food photography? T'was a good day at the office... OK ok la the day was spectacular! Happy? :p

Another Rina shot but before you yell "CATTYWAMPUS" just hear me out & lemme explain, ok.

I shot this with a wrong DRO (Dynamic range optimiser) setting and I've been looking desperately for ways to fix this pix (it had a terrible underexposed-like quality)... until a friend introduced me to Hasselblad's propriety photo editor called PHOCUS. After spending hours familiarising with the app and a few tweaks & clicks, lo and behold my RAW picture came back to life in all its DRO glory! Umm still not perfect but its a good start la kan. And it does have a medium format quality sikit2 kan? Sikit je la jangan mare, aiseymann steady la aku :p
