This is the kind of dive that reminds you why we dive, why we explore, and why we keep coming back for more.

There’s something special about sharing moments like this underwater calm, focused, and completely in sync. This shot of and .baker was taken in Cenote Nariz on one of their first dives after completing their CCR cave course… and what a place to put those new skills to the test.

Would you take to the line and follow it into the blue?

Would you want to dive somewhere like this?

I might be a little biased as it’s my favourite mine to dive… but this has to be one of the most photogenic underwater locations in the UK.

From huge open chambers to remnants like this old bridge part removed, every part of the mine tells a story from when it was once a working slate quarry.

This was a great dive with where we traversed along the shallow level to the end of line and back.

hovering silently on her liberty CCR over the bow of the P29 wreck in Malta.

The p29, once a german-built patrol boat, now sits as one of malta’s most iconic artificial reefs after its sinking in 2007, over time it has transformed into a thriving underwater habitat.

For all photographers, have you ever had your buddy give you that 'really, are you serious?' look while positioning them for a shot?

That's exactly what happened here, trying to nail a sweet silhouette on the cave floor. nailed the pose!

DPVs: do you see them as a tool or toy?

Many see them as a fun ride, but they’re also crucial for pushing the limits of expedition diving. While or photographers like me, they’re a game changer, making it easier to carry equipment and set up shots quickly.

1 km inside a flooded North Wales slate mine, this bridge just… stops.

Originally built so miners could move between chambers and push carts across the workings, only part of the structure remains today, hanging above the water after decades of abandonment.

It’s hard to know whether the bridge was never finished, or if sections were removed when the mine closed and the workings were left to flood.

Now it sits frozen in time deep underground.

What do you think unfinished, or dismantled later?

Drifting through one of the beautifully decorated chambers in the Mexican cave systems.

It’s hard to capture the true scale of these spaces in a photo, but the formations here have been growing for thousands of years. Long before the caves flooded, stalactites and stalagmites slowly formed the landscape we now have the privilege to dive through.

Mexico really does have some of the most incredible cave diving on the planet.

Have you ever dived in a cave system like this?

This crossing once carried both men and mine carts between chambers. Now it hangs in silence a reminder of the industry, grit, and human effort that shaped these underground worlds.

Diving places like this is more than just the dive itself. It’s the contrast advanced rebreather technology moving through spaces carved by hand, steel, and sweat.

A little throwback to last year diving in Malta we starting the dive exploring the P29 Patrol Boat before heading across to the iconic MV Rozi. With leading the way.

The P29 began life in 1970 as an East German Kondor I-class minesweeper before serving with the Armed Forces of Malta. She was deliberately scuttled off Ċirkewwa in 2007 and now sits upright around 34m, a perfectly intact artificial reef and one of Malta’s most popular wreck dives.

The Rozi, a former Bristol-built tug launched in 1958, was scuttled in 1992 and rests upright on the sandy seabed at 30–36m. She has swim-throughs around the wheelhouse and engine room making her a firm favourite for visiting divers.

If you’re diving Malta and want to see the best of these wrecks, I can’t recommend enough.

Really pleased to have received a Highly Commended award at this year’s . This was my second year entering, and to come away with awards both years means a huge amount.

This image was taken in one of my favourite mines in Wales and I’m sure you can all see why. The scale, the atmosphere, the history… it never fails to impress….

The Zenobia this Swedish Ro-Ro ferry sank on her maiden voyage in 1980 after a computerized ballast malfunction caused her to capsize off Larnaca, Cyprus.

She now rests on her port side at 42 m and has become one of the most popular dive sites in the world, frequently ranking among the top 10 wreck dives globally.

This enormous wreck offers something at every level from sweeping along her vast exterior walls to committing to deeper exploration inside the cavernous cargo decks and vehicle lanes.

Have you dived her OC or CCR — and which route is your favourite?

In the heart of Cenote Nariz, is testing out the Pandora Lab K1 Rescue Torch.

The K1 Rescue is an ideal back-up torch for cave diving compact, robust, to confidently get you out of an overhead environment if your primary light fails, or as shown here, when two K1 Rescues are paired together in a custom double goodman handle mount, they step up beyond backup duty and perform exceptionally well as a streamlined primary setup.
