Editing is such an important part of the process for me. Why? Sometimes photos are near perfect in camera, often they are not, especially with family sessions when there’s an element of chaos😅 That’s what I fix in post-processing. Removing distractions (people, objects, scratches, etc.), adjust colours and lighting, brighten faces, draw the eye to where I want it to be. I pay attention to every single detail making sure each photo is worth printing and hanging on the wall. You just need to choose which one😊

La edición de fotos es una parte tan importante del proceso para mí. Por qué? A veces las fotos son casi perfectas al sacarlas con la cámara, pero la mayoría de las veces no lo son, especialmente cuando hay niños involucrados😀 Eso es lo que corrijo en la postproducción. Elimino distracciones (gente, objetos, arañazos…), ajusto colores y luces, ilumino rostros, dirijo la mirada hacia donde quiero que esté. Presto atención a cada detalle para asegurarme de que cada foto valga la pena imprimirla y colgarla en la pared. Solo tienes que elegir cuál😊

DOUBLE EXPOSURES - I’ve been sitting with this idea centering around maternity for a while, however this is harder than I thought it would be🙈 For every creation that I hesitantly share there are 10 others that I throw out. I learned editing with Lightroom which I taught myself, but Double Exposures (unless done in camera) have to be mastered in Photoshop which for the most part is new territory for me. So while studying this fascinating technique I am also learning a complex new program. Here is hoping this will someday come as easy and natural as editing any regular photo👌 In the meantime I’m putting in the work. What do you think about this latest attempt? I am wishing all the mummies near and far a beautiful and blessed Mother’s Day today!🌷🫶 My mum who passed on so much knowledge and wisdom, my girlfriends in different countries whose kids often were my kids first playmates, my lovely Dubai female clients and my new Huatulco contacts - you are in my thoughts today🌻

Beautiful resort shoot in the middle of the desert with lots of Arabic flair and surrounding dunes and all! 😍 Isn’t this mum stunning with her adorable girls?

Why book a Mini session? While a full session allows for more family members, photos, backgrounds and more preparing and generally is a wonderful experience for everyone, a Mini session can be a good compromise when you’re short in time, or for a special occasion (e.g. Christmas), or when you want to document your kids growing on a regular base. When was your last photo shoot with your gang? 🙂 I’m trying to get one done every 2 years as young kids change so quickly. Some people make it an annual tradition. If you haven’t had a professional photo session in a while, I have a few spots left for my Mother’s Day Mini sessions this weekend! Una sesión de fotos preciosa en un resort en medio del desierto, con mucho encanto árabe y dunas de fondo! 😍 Verdad que esta mamá está guapísima con sus adorables hijas?

Por qué reservar una mini-sesión? Si bien una sesión completa permite incluir a más miembros de la familia, más fotos, más fondos y requiere más preparación, y suele ser una experiencia maravillosa para todos, una mini-sesión puede ser una buena opción cuando tienes poco tiempo, para una ocasión especial (por ejemplo, Navidad) o cuando quieres documentar el crecimiento de tus hijos de forma regular.

Cuándo fue tu última sesión de fotos con tu familia? 🙂 Uo intento hacer una cada dos años, ya que los niños pequeños crecen muy rápido. Algunas personas lo convierten en una tradición anual. Si hace tiempo que no te haces una sesión de fotos profesional, me quedan algunos huecos para mis mini-sesiones del Día de las Madres este fin de semana! Today is my birthday and I’m so grateful for this life that allows me to have lived in 6 different countries, raise 2 healthy children with the man I love, and follow my passion for photography which allows me to get to know so many incredible people.

For this reason, I’ll give away one of the six Mother’s Day Mini Sessions that are scheduled for next weekend (Saturday or Sunday)🥰

Hola!🙂 Exciting times, from prepping my first Huatulco maternity shoot to working on Mothers Day Mini sessions my mind is buzzing with ideas!

Motherhood - This theme is so close to my heart, because as a mum of two I know how we sometimes put ourselves last! Well, Mother’s Day is around the corner and I’ll make sure to put the spot light on you beautiful devoted mummies!✨

‘The golden skirt’ - you can take a peek in stories; I had it exclusively made for my clients😍 Also, stay tuned cause Mother’s Day Minis will be launching next week!!

📸In the spotlight today is glowing first-time mum LEMA | Model & UGC Creator at an early stage of pregnancy. The location, the wardrobe, her grace…it was a dreamy session and one of my last maternity shoots in Dubai.

✨Mother’s Day✨
This post is especially for all the mums on here☺️

Being the photographer in the family means, I’m usually the one behind the lens. While I adore taking photos of my kids and other families…it is also important to be in the picture.

So before we moved from Dubai to Mexico last year, it was my heartfelt wish to have a mummy-and-me session to remember that exact season – the place, their age, and our bond🥰 The amazing squeezed us in, and I am so grateful to this day for the memories!📸

Let this be your reminder mamas, that the hundreds of snapshots you got on your phone don’t do your amazing role justice!🫶 You need to be in the frame, playing and laughing with them, cuddling them, so you will always remember that feeling being their number one person😁

My first Mother’s Day Mini sessions here in Huatulco are in the works and will go live in a few weeks. They are aiming at exactly that – to celebrate you and this beautiful season of your life❤️

Psst, something new and exciting happening in Huatulco!!😁 Pame & Meli from invite every Sunday to a night of music, dance and hanging out with friends! The event is kicked off with a free Salsa or Bachata class, followed by some free-style dancing. And it goes further, the idea is to build a community of like-minded people, all connected by their joy for music, laughter, rhythm and dancing. Just what Huatulco needed!!💃 See you there next Sunday?!!🤩

This week is Santiago’s birthday week!!🥰 My sweet boy turned 6 on Monday, and we will celebrate some more on the weekend🥳 He is a brave little kid handling all the adjustments well (3 countries in 6 years!😅), and with a very big heart that’s full of love for his sister and his family. We love you Santi!❤️

I am sharing a few favourites of my sunshine, headed by a new double exposure, and because I couldn’t quite decide there’s one more in the end😁 They’re different to the last time and I’d love some feedback here📸 I’m still experimenting with different styles and methods, and noticed there are many ways to do this (e.g. BnW or background/white background).

One thing’s for sure though, going forward I will be including a double exposure image in my Go Big or Go Home-package, and in my other packages on request📸
