Perhaps we are living in a special pocket of time. Perhaps these are the last years of originality, the last years of presence, the last years of feeling human. Or maybe we will all rebel loudly against AI invading our private moments, and we will fight to become more real, more alive. Weddings can be tricky, overwhelming… we chase the moodboard and the algorithm chases us.

Hold on to all of the little things that make you, you. Hold on to the people who made you into the person that can love so deeply, and give so much. The people who loved you for being yourselves. Alex is calm, steady, and silly underneath. Rachel is bright, bubbly, and strong. Joy and color defined this day, and your friends and family brought with them each their own color to add to your lives. Here’s to a day you will forever remember as being who you really are, two souls who found the realness we are look for in this curated world.

In a fast paced, instant gratification, consumerism, comparison driven world, the meaning of it all can be lost. It’s easy to forget what this journey is all about. We compare ourselves to strangers on the internet that we will never meet. We distract ourselves, and push away real connection and presence because it seems we just don’t have the time.

This day was a silent rebellion against it all. Secret vows and private moments. Presence, stillness, connection, adventure. Life boiled down into the things that matter most. When you have a family already, your wedding day might already feel a little different. These two leaned into that. They celebrated everything they love about being on this green Earth, celebrated their small family and put intimacy above everything else.

Michael planned a secret proposal for Wendi in Cabo a few years ago. While she was expecting a maternity session, he had bigger plans. We had so much fun that they invited me to be a part of this intimate celebration, and I’m still processing the blessing that was. Your stories are meant to be documented, to be celebrated, and to be told.

In a world that seems a little uneasy, love is always the answer. It doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s day, and you don’t need to make everyone happy. In the end this is your moment, and you owe it to yourself to celebrate love in its grandeur. In the cathedral of nature, our favorite place.

Cabo gifted us with the most incredible sunset on the Pacific side. Dunes, sky on fire, whales jumping in the distance. Pinch me I must be dreaming. 🫰

Ain’t no party like a boat party!! Cabo does it best 🫰✨

Too much tequila, whale watching, hidden beaches, sunburns and sunsets and all the best things about Cabo rolled into one! Boat cruises in Cabo are truly something special and an easy addition to round out your wedding weekend. This day, I heard a new friend say, “this is the best day of my life,” and they weren’t even the ones getting married. This day was particularly fun because not only did I swim around with a lil snorkel and GoPro, but the awesome team at swam my camera out to the beach so we could all have a castaway moment- and my best film photo of 2025 came out of it (slide 3) 🫶

It was such a pleasure to spend a sunset sailing with these two. Tani & Rupert’s lives revolve around their horses and each other, and they travel the world while working together. Honestly these are the kind of partnerships built to last. Where you already know you’re a team, for life. 🤍

Sneaks from a long weekend with Makenna & Dillon. Oh my my how full my heart is and how my eyes well up!! Not only are these two absolutely top level humans, completely disciplined and dedicated to a life well lived. Not only are they absolutely meant for each other and fit like missing pieces. Not only are they incredibly beautiful and kind, soul lifting people, who make the world a better place.

They are my friends.

Words truly can’t touch the joy I have to see them happy and in love. When the love is so big it overflows and everyone witnessing it can’t help but feel like life is a little lighter, the world a little less dark, just because something so safe truly exists.

Ten years ago we could have never wrote this plot!! We were so young and naive, so far from where we were going. I feel as if we have lived so many lives, and yet so much the same. It’s as if time never passed, but here you are- growing into who you were meant to be this whole time. The biggest thank you to M & D for trusting me not just as a friend, but as their photographer for this the most special of days. Memories we will never forget, and the pics to prove it 🤍🤍
