Heart is full. Yesterday felt like a slow burn of beautiful moments, messy hair and real love. Some days just have a soul of their own, and this was definitely one of them.

There is nothing we love more than a couple who just lets go. This wedding was such a good lesson in embracing spontaneity.

A Chinese wedding that was a total blast. The couple was so much fun, and their guests matched that energy every single second.

We found that quiet magic right after the ceremony by the golf course. No crowds, just open space. They laughed, they ran, they were just themselves. That first photo in the carousel? That is the exact moment they truly relaxed and showed their actual connection.

The grand finale? A light drizzle started just as the party kicked off, mixing with the bubble machines and creating an incredible atmosphere on the dance floor.

A darkened bridal suite, a flashlight, and a dress (a custom made couture piece from Ukraine with an incredible architectural drape)

Tatyana has that presence that allows you to play with editorial vibes and push the boundaries. Experimenting with shadows and that circular light was the perfect match; I knew from the camera’s viewfinder that the cover photo would be my favorite.

But amidst all the visual drama, I turn around and see the other side of the coin: her mom focused on retouching the bride’s lipstick and her friend struggling with a wet wipe to clean her feet before putting on her shoes.

These are the contrasts I love most about a wedding: high fashion mixed with bare feet and a mother’s love. ✨

Capturing the Rehearsal Dinner and the Welcome Party is so valuable:

There’s a very specific energy during a Welcome Party that you just can’t replicate on the wedding day. It’s that moment where the protocol drops and the group actually connects. Documenting this is basically the ultimate “vibe check” before everything becomes official.

By the time the big day rolls around, the camera is already part of the furniture. The laughs aren’t forced and those spontaneous moments, like an impromptu toast or just walking barefoot through the sand, happen totally on their own.

At the end of the day, having the full story of the weekend is what makes the memory feel alive, and not just like a one day event.

The day was built on contrast: classic convent light during getting ready, shifting into the psychedelic chaos of disco balls by night.

It was the perfect mix of beach villa elegance and underground club soul.

We almost crashed a stranger’s getting-ready session before the day even started.

Logistics at Hyatt Ziva Cancun are no joke. We saw a few bellboys carrying freshly pressed light blue dresses and followed them, convinced they were heading to Caitlin´s suite. Spoiler: They weren’t. After a few seconds of total confusion and some laughs with a group of girls we’d never met, we finally made it to the top floor to get the day started.
Honestly, that’s the beauty of destination weddings … the adrenaline and the random behind the scenes moments that no one sees.

The ceremony by the Cancun lighthouse was one of those moments where everything just clicks. Even though the couple is more on the quiet side, their wedding party was pure energy. It was all about the connection with their closest friends.

My favorite shot has to be number 3 (the one with the veil): the breeze was funneling between the buildings at just the right second to catch the movement. Nothing staged, just the Caribbean doing its thing.
