I love engagement sessions so much, especially when personalized to a couple and their unique dynamics. Amanda and Josh knew they wanted to take these pictures with her family’s longhorns, and their sweet donkey. The added woodfire haze was incredible to capture. Seeing Amanda handle these gentle giants as we walked around them was amazing, and these pictures are among my favorites of all times because they contain so much of the things I love in life, animals, nature and true love. ✨😍

Taking a step back from wedding photography was a difficult, yet necessary decision to take time to heal a period of deep grief and loss. This year, I deliberately chose fewer commitments, because I was well aware of my limitations in a job that no one should take lightly. Wedding photography, to me, is an art that requires an open heart and genuine care, and I can’t tell you all how excited I am to find myself back in alignment with my passion for photography and telling your stories through that.
