“And you thought you were doing a good action by rescuing a vulnerable dog, just to realize the dog was the one that came to you to rescue you from one of the most challenging times of your life.” That's one of the most beautiful lessons my long-time friend and professor, Jorge, shared with me in retrospect from his experience with her dog, Mochita. Accepting that when things come to you, an opportunity, an experience, a new friendship, a dog, you have no idea how big or small they are gonna impact your life, but trust me that regardless of who or what it is, they will definitely leave a mark on you for the rest of your life… BNS
