Hi, my name is Samuel Bouret. I am a photographer
from New York, based out of New Jersey. I specialize
in Portrait Photography.

I love to capture
the beauty in between the moments, and
I do my very best to take a picture with
that in mind. I love having the ability to
give someone something that lasts a
lifetime. I would have to say,Photoshop
is my forte- from removing a pimple
and giving you smooth skin to adding
that perfectly timed sunset whilst

First time using Mylar on a photoshoot… and I’m hooked. ✨

I wanted to create something that felt like we were standing in water, so I decided to experiment with Mylar.

I used an optical spot as my key light, positioned camera left with a circular pattern on the model. Then I added a second light camera right , aimed down at the Mylar in front of the model. The reflections from the Mylar bounced onto the background and created that water-like texture.

It’s crazy what you can create with a simple setup when you start thinking about how light reflects and moves through the environment.

Sometimes the best effects aren’t added in post—they’re created on set. 📸✨

Story time… 📸

My first model was my wife, and it felt right to bring it full circle and photograph her again with the new Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG Art.

What originally got me into photography was actually buying my first Sigma lens — the 18-35mm F1.8 Art. I remember seeing that beautiful bokeh and realizing just how much was possible with a camera and a lens. That moment really opened the door for me.

Fast forward to today, and I’m still chasing that same feeling — just with a little more experience behind the camera. 😂

For these portraits, I paired the Sony a7R VI with the new Sigma 85mm F1.2 DG Art, and lit the scene with the Flashpoint XPLOR 800 Pro and a 44” Octa.

And honestly, getting to photograph my first model again with a lens like this makes these images that much more special. ❤️

One actor. Five characters. One final image. 🎭

George has played a wide range of characters throughout his career, so I wanted to create something that showcased his versatility beyond a traditional headshot. We photographed each character individually and brought them all together in Photoshop to create one cinematic composite.
