Before the city got a Bulldozer to manage this area. This is what they had to use a Backhoe which was a lot more difficult. Just more evidence of what needs to be done in this area.

Kai Thompson body surfing a creek wave! 🤣🤙🏼 This was so rad! I’ve never seen anyone bodysurf the creek wave this long before! I think it was a record! 🤯

Flowing water is GOOD! Stagnant water is BAD. This creek mouth needs to drain and cycle. The longer it sits stagnant the higher bacteria levels grow and is a breeding ground for mosquitos. Not to mention the flooding and property damage that happens when it is not breached regularly. Even the city uses a bulldozer to maintain and breach the berm to let the water drain. But the wave riding community does it also at no cost to tax payers.
