Oddities Darkroom experiments, documenting memories, culture and researching identity within history.

I am a multidisciplinary artist, creative facilitator, and producer based in Manchester. My photo series Matter Out of Place explores my Chagossian heritage through a decolonial historical lens whilst celebrating Chagossian culture. In 2020, I created Chagossians of Manchester, a socially-engaged photography workshop-based intergenerational project. Belongers, my first solo exhibition in the UK was commissioned by the Imperial War Museum and Ffotogallery.
