I’ve always had a deep admiration for birds, especially parakeets, parrots, and macaws — the latter being part of my own life. These three photos were captured with my Fujifilm X100V in Guangdong Province, China, inside an animal protection park. Right now, as you know, my Fujifilm is undergoing repair, but these moments remind me why I love photographing them so much.

After days of dark skies and heavy rain, the sun and heat finally returned to Macau. I took my trusty Fujifilm X10 out once again, dedicated solely to capturing black and white moments. The city glowed with renewed contrasts — shadows deepened, light sharpened, and the rhythm of everyday life unfolded in monochrome. Meanwhile, I learned that repairing the Fujifilm X100V costs around 1960 MOP, roughly 200 euros.
