It’s bittersweet. The blue indulgence into Florida’s springs. They continue to leave me breathless and heartbroken. They are beautiful and soothing yet imperiled and declining.
One of the ways you can love a spring is by responsible recreation.

Join me for “Meet and Greet” this Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at Silver Springs State Park where some of my favorite otter photographs are on display. I love telling the stories behind the picture! Make sure to mark your calendar for this Sunday at 3pm for the "Life of otters" lecture. I will share stories, pictures and videos from the field, explain how to ethically take pictures of otters (or any wildlife) and what a hopeful conservation story lies within the otter population.

This Saturday will be the “meet and greet” for my otter exhibit at Silver Springs State Park, hosted by Friends of Silver Springs State Park!
I have a small surprise - the exhibit is interactive! That means, everyone will be able to find out more about North American river otters by scanning the QR code at the gallery. 🦦
For some of you that want to catch glimpses of the lives of otters, listen to stories from the field, and dive more into conservation, I highly recommend coming to my “The life of otters” talk on Sunday at 3pm.
I am otterly excited to pre-celebrate with all of you.
