When the Champagne region shares a similar mineral vocabulary -
Name a more iconic duo than Champagne & Oysters!

This marriage, the ideal blending, joining two perspectives that fit in immaculate concordance, with the champagne there isn't an endeavour to demolish the characteristics of the oyster, and neither the oyster is subjected to the freshness of the champagne, however, one component improves the other.

Nothing brightens up your gloomy winter mood like a two-hour, fancy appetisers, and a three-glasses-of-crémant lunch.

And one of my favourites of all time - Château Martinolles – Crémant de Limoux Blanc – Grande Réserve summarised our evening.

Bravo, Architectes!

Let’s wander into a small wine village in the heart of Pfalz- the crown jewel among the German wine tourism regions. Surrounded by a unique cultural landscape, home to the wonderful Weingut Bergdolt-Reif & Nett GmbH & Co. KG world - small winery packing a big punch since 1838!

Each of their bottle produced is always as different as they come – the only thing they all have in common is energy, imagination and an appetite for risk and hard work.

Arrived from the depths of Pfalz, our joie de vivre tonight:

A FAITH - LOVE - HOPE Dry Riesling, with incredible minerality - this aromatic wine offers primary fruit aromas of orchard fruits like nectarine, apricot, honey-crisp apple, and pear. Amazingly soft finish - your perfect choice for both seafood brunch and an evening dessert.

And fresh and fruity Weißburgunder.
Usually referred to as a summerish wine, this bottle was beyond our means. Creamy taste with a revealing smell - fogy, meaty and rich - an absolute apogee of the evening, declared by our Architects as a “winter white wine”.

Champagne Laurent-Perrier has always preferred to keep its prestige cuvée as a nonvintage blend and being mature champagne.⠀

Alongside more modern and technical approaches to making Champagne, Laurent Perrier focuses on precise and careful blending and artisanal approaches but respects the history of the estate and its personality.

Remember our architects visiting Domaine Boehler vineyard last year?
Set in a house from 1742, which has always belonged to families of winemakers? We went there just before the quarantine!

Here it is again - a homemade Moules Marinière and a bottle of astonishing Gewürztraminer!

Stay safe, wine architects, and support your local wineries!

In the world of cocktails, the is always an embarrassment to the family.

Bitter enough to serve as both an afternoon refresher and appetite awakener, the of yours also serves as a perfect refresher in the .

The classic formula goes with a bit of Aperol, Campari and similar, over ice in a tall , topped with half sparkling wine - , , or and half sparkling water. Throwing a lemon or orange twist on top - we went nuts and gave it a whole wedge with frozen berries. Should we call it a bubbly now?

Little do we know, that at the beginning- the wine was used. Austrians added some seltzer water to the , since they were not used to such intense beverages.

And here we go today - toasting to the start of the season with its most fashionable drink and hit the beach bar inspired venue, screenings hoping that summer never ends.
