During my recent expedition to Spiti Valley, I spent days exploring the rugged habitat of the legendary snow leopard. These landscapes, frozen valleys, sharp ridgelines, and vast Himalayan wilderness are where the true Ghost of the Mountains lives.

A dominant male and a graceful female What began as a gentle interaction slowly unfolded into a mating ritual. They circled each other, touched noses, rubbed along the other’s flanks, and settled into moments of calm.
