From above, they rest in a cradle of green - a gentle herd wrapped in the earth’s embrace, dreaming beneath the rhythm of rain and soil.

Wildlife photographer Ethan Morales was deep in the California hills, camera in hand, tracking a female mountain lion he’d been observing for weeks. He called her Sierraβ€”strong, stealthy, and fiercely protective of her territory.

One chilly dawn, Ethan spotted movement near the edge of a small rural neighborhood. He steadied his lens, expecting to capture Sierra’s silhouette against the rising sun. But thenβ€”something unexpected. A tiny orange house cat wandered out from under a porch, tail flicking curiously.

To Ethan’s astonishment, Sierra didn’t attack. Instead, she crouched low, ears perked, and let out a soft chuffing soundβ€”the same one she used with her cubs. The house cat meowed back, completely unaware of the dangerβ€”or the confusion. For a few surreal moments, the mountain lion circled the cat gently, sniffing, her massive head lowering as if to nudge it.

Ethan clicked his camera rapidly, heart pounding. He captured a sequence so tender and bizarre it would later go viralβ€”the majestic predator mistaking a domestic cat for her lost cub.

Singapore just launched the world’s first purpose-built floating prison β€” a high-tech facility anchored 500 meters offshore that’s redefining the future of incarceration.

Designed to house over 2,000 inmates, the floating prison is equipped with AI surveillance, biometric security, robotic patrols, and no traditional bars β€” just geofenced digital boundaries.

More than just confinement, the structure also focuses on education, skills training, and rehabilitation, aiming to reintegrate inmates into society with dignity and purpose. As land-scarce nations explore innovative infrastructure, Singapore is once again leading the way β€” this time on water.

While billionaires may headline the luxury lifestyle, it's actually everyday people fueling the industryβ€” roughly 75% of luxury spending comes from the middle and lower class.

The reason? For many, looking successful matters more than being wealthy. In the age of social media, luxury goods have become symbols of aspiration.

People stretch budgets for designer labels and high-end tech, not just for quality, but to signal status, boost self-image, and keep up in a culture that rewards appearances.

Did you know? Singapore built wildlife bridge so palm civets and pangolins can cross the road safely without being hit by a car?

Singapore is home to Southeast Asia’s first wildlife bridge, known as the Eco-Link@BKE. Officially opened in 2013, this ecological bridge connects the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve across the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).

Spanning 62 meters, the bridge allows safe passage for native wildlife such as pangolins, civets, and colugos, helping to reduce roadkill and promote genetic diversity by linking fragmented habitats.
