Kaindy Lake, Kazakhstan — and yes this place is real 😮🇰🇿

Snow covered mountains, frozen edges, and submerged tree trunks rising out of crystal clear water. No filter, no editing — Kaindy Lake looks exactly like this in person.

Most Indians have never heard of this place and honestly that is what makes it so special. You feel like you have discovered something the rest of the world hasn’t found yet.

As an Indian solo traveler, this was one of the most surreal moments of my entire Kazakhstan trip.

Bukhara, Uzbekistan — and this city feels like a living museum 🇺

Ancient monuments standing tall after centuries, narrow streets that have barely changed with time, and a vibe that you simply cannot find anywhere else. Every corner here tells a story.

As an Indian solo traveler, walking through Bukhara felt like stepping into a different era completely. This city does not need filters or fancy editing — it is breathtaking exactly as it is.

Registan Square, Samarkand at night — nothing prepares you for this 😮🇺🇿
One of the most iconic landmarks in all of Central Asia and seeing it lit up at night is something that no photo or video can fully capture. Three magnificent madrasas, centuries of history, and lights that make the whole square glow like something out of a dream.
As an Indian solo traveler, this was one of those rare moments where you just stop, put your phone down, and take it all in.
Registan Square alone is worth the entire trip to Uzbekistan.

I’ve seen mountains. I’ve seen deserts. But I never expected Tashkent to be the city that gave me my first snowfall. 🌨️
Walking through Tashkent City Park with snow falling around me — honestly one of those travel moments you just can’t plan. The whole city transformed. Everything went quiet. Everything turned white.
Nobody talks about Tashkent in winter. And that is exactly the problem.
This city in snow is something else entirely. The streets, the parks, the architecture — everything hits different when it’s covered in white.

Most people know Samarkand. But the travelers who’ve been to Bukhara — they know this is the real soul of Uzbekistan.

Bukhara is 2,000 years old. And walking through its streets at night feels like the city is still alive with every century it has lived through.

The Kalon Minaret standing tall in the dark. The Lyabi-Hauz pool reflecting the lights at midnight. The Ark Fortress that once held kings, prisoners and secrets — all in the same walls.

During the day it’s history. At night it’s magic. ✨

This is Part 2 of my Uzbekistan series — and honestly Bukhara deserved its own separate post because no single frame is enough for this city.

I’ve traveled to 12 countries. And somehow, Samarkand hit the hardest.
There’s something about standing in front of Registan Square at golden hour that makes you forget everything else. The scale. The silence. The colors. I genuinely stood there for 20 minutes just… staring.
Shah-i-Zinda, Gur-e-Amir, Bibi-Khanym — every single monument felt like a movie set. Except it’s all real. And it’s all still standing after 2,500 years.

This mosque has been standing since 1712 — Bolo Hauz Mosque, Bukhara 😮🇺🇿
Walking up to this mosque and realizing it has survived for over 300 years was a surreal feeling. The architecture, the wooden columns, the detail in every corner — this place is a masterpiece that most Indians have never even heard of.
Bolo Hauz Mosque was the royal mosque of Bukhara — rulers would come here to pray before making important decisions. Standing in the same place where history was made centuries ago hits completely different.
Bukhara is full of places like this — ancient, untouched, and waiting to be discovered by Indian travelers.

Bukhara, Uzbekistan — and this is where the journey begins 🚂🇺🇿
Arriving at Bukhara train station as an Indian solo traveler was a moment I won’t forget. Clean, calm, and completely different from what I was used to back home.
Bukhara is one of the oldest and most historic cities in all of Central Asia — and getting here by train is honestly the best way to arrive. Affordable, comfortable, and the views along the way are stunning.
If Uzbekistan is on your travel list, Bukhara is non negotiable. Don’t skip it.
