FAREWELL MESSAGE TO HIS EXCELLENCY ARCHBISHOP HUBERTUS VAN MEGEN

With profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation, we bid farewell to His Excellency, Archbishop Hubertus Matheus Maria van Megen, as he concludes his mission as the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya after seven years of dedicated service from 2019 to 2026.

During your tenure in Kenya, you faithfully represented the Holy Father and the Holy See with humility, wisdom, and pastoral zeal. Your commitment to strengthening the Catholic Church, promoting unity among God's people, and fostering cordial relations between Kenya and the Vatican has left a lasting legacy.

We thank you for your fatherly guidance, encouragement, and support to the clergy, religious, and lay faithful throughout the country. Your presence among us has been a blessing, and your service will be remembered with gratitude for many years to come.

As you embark on your new mission as Apostolic Nuncio to Germany, we pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless, protect, and guide you. May the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for you, and may your ministry continue to bear abundant fruits wherever the Lord sends you.
