📷 Types of photography and lenses
Each lens changes the way we see the scene. It doesn't just zoom in or out; it also modifies the perspective, the sense of space, and the type of photography we can achieve. 🔍✨
Fish-eye or extreme wide-angle lenses capture a very wide field of view. They are useful for architecture, interiors, or scenes where you want to show a lot of space, although they can distort lines if not used carefully. 🏛️
Wide-angle lenses, such as 21 to 35 mm, are widely used in landscapes, travel, and urban photography. They allow you to include a lot of the surroundings without moving too far away from the subject. 🌅🏙️
Standard lenses, between 35 and 70 mm, offer a more natural view, similar to how we perceive the world. They work very well for documentary, street photography, and everyday scenes. 👁️
Telephoto lenses, between 70 and 135 mm, are ideal for portraits because they slightly compress the perspective, separate the subject from the background better, and produce a pleasing blur (bokeh). 👤✨
Super-telephoto lenses, from 135 to 300 mm or more, are used for sports, wildlife, and nature. They allow you to photograph distant subjects without invading their space, preserving detail and focus. 🦅📸
