As a photographer and artist, I enjoy working with different styles and genres. This post is part of a small project where I photograph physical products and sometimes share stories behind them.
Music has always been one of my favorite genres. I love working with artists - capturing their energy, their vibe and showing it through my vision. I’ve always dreamed about photographing music covers, album jackets, and creating full visual stories.
In this post, you can see 4 CD+DVD albums (one is missing since it was archived and used by me), a lyrics booklet, insert photos, and a score book.
I worked on this project doing all the photography, visual direction, and artwork design for album “Karma”, of the band BRATS, released in 2020. It really was a dream come true.
Later in 2021, I had an opportunity to work again with BRATS and filmed the music video for the song “Toge” that I picked from the album. It all be became a whole completing project directed by me. It felt personal, - the timing creating, reflection of my own experiences at that point in life, like an echo through my artistic expression in collaborations aligned.
This post is a little story from that time - and a close-up of the physical pieces we created together.
