✨Gabby and Tyler have already been married for a year, but they never had the chance to celebrate their love the way they dreamed.
So this wasn’t about recreating a wedding day. This was about honoring a marriage. A marriage built on friendship, patience, resilience, and choosing one another over and over again🤍

When Gabby told me she wanted something ethereal in the woods, I immediately pictured golden light filtering through the trees, soft movement, and a space where they could simply be themselves.

And that’s exactly what happened.
They laughed. They danced. They wandered through the forest hand in hand. They forgot about the camera and got lost in each other✨🌲

Being military-to-military isn’t always easy. I should know from personal experience. Life can be demanding, schedules can be unpredictable, and sometimes time together feels far too short. But watching these two together reminded me that the strongest relationships aren’t the ones without challenges... They’re the ones where two people continue showing up for each other, loving one another intentionally, and choosing each other every single day❤️

And honestly? This is why I love photographing couples so much. Because I get to witness love in its realest form.
Not perfection. Not poses.

I don’t know what it is about elopements, but they get me every single time. 🥹❤️ Maybe it’s the intimate moments, the happy tears, or the vows that always seem to find a way straight to my heart.

And if I’m being completely honest… every single time I tell myself I won’t cry during the vows. Every. Single. Time. 😂 I may look tough, but I have the biggest chicken heart when it comes to witnessing two people promise forever to one another. 💍❤️

Beth and Cody traveled all the way to Japan from Florida to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives, surrounded by the beauty of spring and the people they love most. Their sister officiated their ceremony, making it even more personal and meaningful❤️

And let me tell you… Mother Nature really wanted to keep us on our toes🤣 From pouring rain at our first location to sunshine and warmth at our second, we experienced just about every season in a single morning/afternoon. But honestly? It couldn’t have been more perfect.

What makes this day even more special to me is that Beth reached out nearly a year ago. Back in September, she trusted me enough to book me for their April elopement, and I remember feeling completely honored and beyond excited that they wanted me to tell their story.

One of the greatest gifts Japan has given me is the opportunity to meet incredible people from all over the world and preserve their stories. From couples nervously telling me, “This is our first professional photo session,” to watching them forget the camera exists and simply love each other, those moments will never stop being magical to me. ✨

Beth and Cody, thank you for trusting me, for welcoming me into such an intimate chapter of your lives, and for allowing me to witness your love story firsthand. Your day was filled with laughter, adventure, and so much love, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been a small part of it🥹❤️

A tiny heartbeat… and suddenly, everything changes 🥹🤍✨ Watching Bridgette and her sweet growing family step into this brand new chapter was honestly one of the most beautiful things to witness. The love, excitement, nervous giggles, soft smiles, and quiet little moments between them made this session feel so incredibly special from beginning to end. This is their very first baby… their very first journey into parenthood 🌿🤍 And being trusted to document the beginning of something so life-changing will never, ever be something I take lightly.

 Not only are you beautiful inside and out, but your energy made this entire session feel effortless, warm, and full of joy. Sessions like this remind me exactly why I fell in love with lifestyle photography in the first place, because these are the moments that become part of a family’s story forever. From the tiny outfits hanging in the trees, to those precious ultrasound photos, to the way you both already love your little one so deeply… every image feels like a love letter to the baby you haven’t even met yet 🤍🌙

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣

I know I posted this on IG but wanted to make sure I posted here as well.

I am fully booked for May and June! My books are being closed and I’m taking a hiatus for many reasons but please read pictures below. ✨🩷

✨Hiatus will be from 30 June - 30 August ✨

I will open my books again at the end of July. I thankfully always get booked 2-3 months in advanced so please plan accordingly. If we have spoken about having a session please message me but i won’t be taking any new sessions after this week.

I appreciate the immense love and support from this amazing community 🩷 don’t worry I’ll still post all the beautiful sessions I have scheduled and have planned on doing as well 😍✨

Hi guys just wanted to give everyone a heads up I was in the UCC yesterday bc my symptoms got worse throughout the week, preventing me from even looking at my phone let alone my computers. I will be doing the best I can do finalize the mommy and me minis this week by Saturday. 🙏🏼 then on to the cherry blossoms and the sessions after. I’ll try to keep everyone updated with which galleries I’m working through. Minis right now will take about 2-3 weeks and regular sessions up to 6 for turn arounds. I’ll be working on sneak peeks to take you off the edge though. ✨🩷 Thank you for your patience and understanding that sometimes even if I don’t want tos too my body tells me otherwise and my health is kind of important to keep making magic here. Love you guys!!!

It’s been a minute since I’ve introduced myself Hi, I’m Ashley 🤍 but everyone calls me Ash. I’m the owner of Baked Moments Photography (BMP) ✨&& The girl usually behind the camera… but every now and then, I step into the frame too.

I’ve been doing photography professionally for 5 years now, but my love for capturing moments started long before that. Ever since I came to the States as a little girl, I found myself holding onto memories, wanting to freeze the feeling of them before they slipped away. These days, I get to do that for others… and it still means everything to me.

I’m a lifestyle portrait photographer stationed in the northern part of Japan in a small town called Misawa and I’ve been here for a little over two years. I’m the girl who finds beauty in the in-between, the soft, quiet moments. The laughter that isn’t forced. The way your love shows up naturally without trying. The moments that pass in a glimpse but stay with you forever.

Outside of photography, I’m a proud furr mama to my babies 🐾 (they’re a huge part of my world), and I’m always chasing new places and experiences. I love to travel and I’m always willing to go wherever your story takes me, because some of the most beautiful moments deserve to be captured exactly where they happen ✨I don’t believe in perfect poses. I believe in connection, movement, and letting things unfold the way they’re meant to.

There’s something so special about a family that just flows together 🤍
 No pressure, no overthinking, just laughter, love, and being fully present with each other.
The Hugaert family made this session feel effortless in the best way. From the quiet little in-between moments to the playful energy they brought, everything felt so genuine and full of life ✨ And their furr babies?! Absolutely stole the show… the kind of faces you can’t stop smiling at 🐾💛

These are the moments that matter, the way they look at each other, the comfort, the joy, the home they’ve created together. Being able to capture that is something I’ll never take for granted 🥹

👉 Chishima Trench

These areas are where tectonic plates collide and store massive energy.

What history shows:

* In 1963, a magnitude 7 quake was followed by a much stronger M8.5 just hours later
* In 2011, a M7.3 quake came before the devastating M9.0
(Great East Japan Earthquake)

What this means today:

* Strong quakes can be warning signs, not just isolated events
* Bigger earthquakes may follow within hours to days
* The risk zone stretches along Japan’s northeast coast

When a major quake hits this region, it can trigger something even bigger — so staying alert in the following days is critical.
