Currently based in Amman, Jordan, my work mostly consist of photo and video coverage of cultural and artistic events (concerts, festivals, shows, spectacles...) Playing with the settings, the light, with movements...
I found my favourite subject quickly after I put my hands on a camera: wildlife. A most inspiring subject yet one amongst the hardest to capture. The tracking, playing hide & seek whi
le the animals are rarely still and offer you only limited movements, limited angles, no control over the lighting... and very few opportunities. The challenges are many but I find the adrenaline and the rewards far more satisfying than any other kind of photography. When the concrete jungle is my only playground, I enjoy mostly long exposure shots at night which suit best my love of the night time. They let me capture the lights that sublimate their cities and make them so beautiful and dreamy in the darkness. Additionaly, I have recently taken interest in capturing everyday moments around me, testimonies of local lives and oddities. I cut many of my photographs with a very wide format which I've been increasingly using over time. Besides it simply being a personnal favourite, I believe it allows for interesting ways to focus on the subjects, letting the photographs show a lot while yet leaving more than enough to imagination, hence conferring the photographs a strong evocative power. I hope you enjoy my photographs. Feel free to contact me, I'm always happy to meet new people.
