Celebrating International Women’s Day in the Vale 🥳

This weekend we’re marking International Women’s Day by celebrating the amazing women who make a difference across our communities 🙌

You might spot some of our landmarks lit up in purple to mark the occasion 💜

We’re also holding a special exhibition at Art Central Gallery, Barry Library, organised by the Women’s Arts Association Wales.

The exhibition opens tomorrow on Saturday 07 March, 1–3pm and showcases a wide range of artwork by talented women from across Wales.

Visitors to the opening can also enjoy a live performance from jazz and blues singer Amada Magrin 🎺

Pop along and celebrate the creativity and achievements of women in our community!
