I'm Michael.
Some time ago, at the end of a meeting, a bride told me:
"You should talk about yourself more. I would have chosen you straight away."
The truth is, before getting there, she'd had her doubts.
Then she looked more carefully
and trusted that feeling.
I understand that.
Today we're used to getting to know people first,
to feeling close to them before we even meet.
I simply do it differently.
It doesn't come naturally to me to over-explain.
I'd rather leave room, for my photography, for what remains.
That's where I put my attention, my time, my care.
Photographing a wedding, for me,
is stepping respectfully into something
that will never happen again.
A reportage approach.
A gentle guide, when needed.
To shape, naturally,
something that belongs only to you.
I'm looking to be the right choice for those who recognise themselves in this way of seeing.
Those who recognise themselves in this, usually already know.

It looked like a scene cut from Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, but it was all true.
The two of them, newly married, strolling through the streets of Bologna as if inside a postcard from another time.
Between smiles, stolen glances and film kisses, love found its perfect light.

Tutti in bianco.
Come se il mondo si fosse fatto silenzioso, puro, in attesa.
Poi sono arrivati loro, mano nella mano.
In rosso.
Non per contrasto, ma per verità.
Due anime che non hanno paura di brillare,
di essere se stesse,
di celebrare l’amore così com’è: libero, profondo, pieno.
Villa Alpebella Ires situata nella cornice di Forte dei Marmi sembrava sospesa,
un sogno d’estate in cui ogni dettaglio parlava d’eleganza e coraggio.
E in mezzo al bianco della festa…
il rosso dell’amore che osa,
che vive,
che incanta.
Onorato di aver potuto raccontare questa storia con la mia fotografia.
Perché certe giornate non si scattano soltanto.
