The Days of Wine and Roses
A song that feels like it was written for them.

A love born in Ibiza, grown across the ocean, and brought all the way here, to Villa Coccapani.
White and red, like the wine and the details of the whole day: candid callas and white roses, scarlet anthuriums, crystal chandeliers hanging in the ivy, burgundy accents everywhere.
And when night falls, red takes over: glowing lights on the dance floor, a live sax, and a party no one wanted to end.

Punta Ala, giugno. Il mare diventa oro liquido al tramonto e le nozze di Elisa e Francesco si accendono degli stessi colori: rosa cipria, lavanda, pesca e giallo b***o nei fiori che hanno vestito la pineta e la piccola chiesa a punta, gli stessi toni che si sono poi sciolti nel cielo durante il party in spiaggia. Un matrimonio che ha attraversato ogni sfumatura dell'emozione, dalla tenerezza sussurrata delle promesse alla gioia piena della festa, con il Mediterraneo come unico testimone silenzioso, tra scogliere, vele lontane e la luce calda che solo la Toscana costiera sa regalare.

Gaia & Dustin.
Magnani Rocca da decenni custodisce opere d'arte tra le sue mura e quel giorno ne ha ospitata una nuova.
Un'intesa rara.
Gaia che ride e piange nello stesso respiro. Dustin che le sistema la scarpa tra le statue del parco come se fosse la cosa più naturale del mondo.
I pavoni giravano liberi tra gli ospiti come se conoscessero il copione e la luce del tramonto faceva il resto.
Culture e continenti diversi che, quando c'è da festeggiare un amore così, parlano all'improvviso la stessa lingua.
Tra le sue pareti la villa conserva da sempre storie di bellezza.
Da oggi ne custodisce un'altra.

I'm Michael.
Some time ago, at the end of a meeting, a bride told me:
"You should talk about yourself more. I would have chosen you straight away."
The truth is, before getting there, she'd had her doubts.
Then she looked more carefully
and trusted that feeling.
I understand that.
Today we're used to getting to know people first,
to feeling close to them before we even meet.
I simply do it differently.
It doesn't come naturally to me to over-explain.
I'd rather leave room, for my photography, for what remains.
That's where I put my attention, my time, my care.
Photographing a wedding, for me,
is stepping respectfully into something
that will never happen again.
A reportage approach.
A gentle guide, when needed.
To shape, naturally,
something that belongs only to you.
I'm looking to be the right choice for those who recognise themselves in this way of seeing.
