The last time I visited Copenhagen, I decided to try something a little different. I found GoBoat Copenhagen and decided to venture around the city via canal. It was honestly a fun and unique experience that you will not regret doing!
You end up steering yourself through the main channel, past the Opera House, and into Christianshavns Kanal, so you're seeing the city from angles most people never get to. Everything departs from Islands Brygge and it's a genuinely simple setup once you're on the water. If you're already the type to skip the walking tour for something less crowded, this is that.
If driving your own boat feels like a lot, they also run guided harbor tours in electric designer boats, capped at nine people, so it still feels small and social rather than like a big tour group. You get the sightseeing without having to think about navigation.
