Aotearoa always leaves me in awe.
This land is bigger than me,
and nature here takes care of herself.

What moves me deeply, too,
is the remarkable work of humans —
who have shaped the land without destroying it.
In most places, the intervention feels respectful.
Not control, but adaptation.
Not ownership, but co-existence.

The wildness of the sea.
Roads dissolving into wilderness.
Dense vegetation, constant wind, untamed edges —
and walking barefoot just about everywhere- which I haven’t quite mastered, to be honest…
but I can do flip-flops all day long :)

And then there’s the humour.
That unmistakable Kiwi spontaneity,
a playful spirit, little gestures that remind you not to take yourself too seriously.

A place at the end of the world
that reminds me how small,
and how alive we truly are.

Spent the day at ’s tiny country house just outside Auckland.
Fed the chickens.
Sang Jolene.
Ate pastries.
Swam in the pool.

One of those slow, sun-soaked afternoons where time stretches and magic feels normal.
Some people just make magic by being exactly who they are. 💛

I had the fortune to stay at the BnB ‘Casa Agostini’ in the Prosecco Hills, Italy, a quiet retreat among rolling vineyards, soft light, and the slow rhythm of Northern Italy.

Everyone runs to Tuscany — and we understand why — but the Prosecco region carries the same poetry: layered hills, historic villas, contemporary art, and Venice just a short drive away.

This Airbnb, Casa Agostini, created by the all round creative , (see photos with his beloved dog Kirma) sits high above the vineyards — nothing less than the Prosecco vines themselves, now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage landscape.

The views, the silence, the intimacy of the interiors — it’s the kind of home that invites you to slow down, open the windows, and stay a little longer than planned.

If you’re planning a trip to Italy and craving beauty without the crowds — and if, like me, you love a glass (or two) of bubbles — let this be your sign.

And if still wines are more your thing, the Veneto region is just as generous, rich, and quietly surprising.

Italy hides some treasures so well you almost want to keep them secret…

But Il Cásale Dorato deserves its moment:
A country house (Casale) tucked amongst the rolling hills of Le Marche
(the region everyone forgets to visit… until they fall in love with it).

Think sunflower fields, slow days, olive trees swaying like they know all the old stories.

This unique BnB sits on top of a hill, looking over nature like a gentle guardian.

Styling it and then capturing it’s been a dream job, it felt like stepping into a soft breath of Italy itself.
