The fall is all part of the flight 🌪️

To anyone outside the sport, this looks like a mistake. To a highliner, this is just a standard Tuesday. Catching this exact mid-fall inversion, with the historic walls of San Marino’s Guaita tower as its backdrop, emphasises what this sport actually demands: total acceptance of the drop. It is about leaning completely into the trust of self and equipment, finding a moment of peace on the line to stretch your limits, and forgetting about everything else…

Pulling back to capture the full scene in this one, the scale of the drop, the medieval architecture, and the sheer exposure become the real main characters of the frame 🤟🏼 its become one of my personal favourites from this years Energika fest

Timing is everything… “Parallel Flight” captured in the skies over Bologna.

A commercial jet and an elite highliner, both cutting their own paths through the air at the exact same time.

Honored to have “Parallel Flight” named as a finalist in this year’s World Sports Photography Awards alongside two other submissions, It serves as a reminder to always keep looking up — you never know what paths will cross! 🤟🏼

A few of my favourite frames from a year spent looking up (and occasionally down). Many of the images are split across two slides — swipe through slowly to see the full frame.

From Bologna to Cremona, San Marino and beyond — this past year has taken me into some incredible places, events and communities, photographing athletes who have found freedom on a line of webbing suspended between centuries of history, pushing the limits of what feels possible in highlining.

These are some of the images that have stayed with me most.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here recently, but behind the scenes I’ve been busy working on a longer story about the growth of urban highlining in Italy — built around the places, people and communities behind these photographs.

A huge thank you to everyone across the slackline communities who has welcomed me, trusted me with their events and allowed me to document what you do. I’ve had an incredible time getting to know this community over the past year, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

It’s been a while since climbing was a regular part of my week…

Lately, that’s changed 💪🏼

Since to move to Bologna I’ve been spending more time at — partly behind the camera, partly on the wall myself, and it’s reminded me why climbing communities (particularly this one) are so special. Everyone is working on something different, but somehow you’re all solving the same problems together.

Looking forward to creating more with the team and documenting the people, movement, and atmosphere that make this place so special 🤙🏼

Arguably the best alarm clock — cold water & spring morning light 🙌🏼 The kind of moments that remind you why you started chasing adventure in the first place.

But adventure doesn’t always have to mean distant expeditions or huge mountains…

This is one of the things we love most about Eryri. The landscapes here constantly rewards curiosity.

Collaborating with on imagery like this is always special because it captures the feeling of being outdoors, not just the location itself.
