Joining the “river delta game” a few years after the game is over probably, but who cares after all? I’ll drop a few images into the ocean of aerials of similar subjects.

After all, it’s hard not to press that damn button when you start seeing in your remote control screen these absolutely jaw-dropping patterns, colors and textures created by the rivers as they prepare to flow into the sea.

The variety is what struck me the most - not one delta looks similar to another; the colors vary hugely as well as the textures, shapes and obviously size too. I have to say I really enjoyed shooting a few different ones - which slowly I’ll share over here too!

Time to share something fresh from my last year’s trip to Iceland. Arguably the best and most productive one I’ve ever did in the summer time to be honest - conditions have been nothing short of spectacular throughout the whole adventure. From moody skies to great light (and everything in between).

This image shows Landmannalaugar in the distance with some beautiful crater lakes in the foreground; probably one of the areas that I like the most in the highlands, as the landscapes literally look like another planet!

I’ve got a good amount of images taken in different light conditions from this place - so this won’t be the last one I’ll show you without a doubt. I just started editing them and it seems like it’ll take me ages to go through all the folders!

From the bird's eye perspective you really get to understand the amazing geography of this place - and how hard life could have been back in the days!
