If you’re visiting Kochi during the monsoon, here’s one day trip you absolutely shouldn’t miss 👀🌿

📍Athirappilly – Vazhachal – Charpa Waterfalls
Three stunning waterfalls, all covered in a single day from Kochi 🚗🌧️

🛣️ Distance from Kochi: ~65–75 km (around 2–2.5 hours one way, depending on traffic)
🏠 Base stay: Hostel in Kochi 🎒
⏰ Ideal duration: Keep one full day aside to enjoy the route, viewpoints, waterfalls, and monsoon scenery without rushing 🥹✨

• Athirappilly — Kerala’s largest waterfall 🤍

If you’re looking for a simple beginner-friendly trek in Maharashtra, Devkund Waterfall is honestly such a beautiful place to start 🌊⛰️✨

But somewhere during this journey, I realised…
maybe every fresh start in life works the same way 🥹

Whether it’s travelling solo, making new friends, starting a new hobby, or rebuilding yourself ❤️
You don’t always need to take the hardest path first.

Sometimes you just need to start small.
Start easy.
Start somewhere that doesn’t scare you too much 🌱✨

And maybe that’s exactly what this day of travel taught me 🫶

During this journey, we accidentally discovered an absolute GEM for adventure lovers in Maharashtra 🥹⛰️

A cosy hostel right beside a beautiful river 🌊✨
Wake up to views, water activities just steps away 🚣‍♀️💦
And surrounded by some insane treks & waterfall trails all around 🥾🌿

Honestly, this place felt like the perfect mix of chaos, adventure, peace, and backpacker energy 🎒❤️

One of those hidden spots you randomly find while travelling… and never stop talking about after 🫶✨

Everybody wants to create…
But putting yourself officially out there?
That takes real guts 😭✨

The fear of not being good enough.
The pressure of making the “perfect” edit.
The constant overthinking before even starting 🫠

But somewhere, you realise — you just need to begin ❤️

So this was my story of taking that first official step…
Investing almost all my savings into the only device I could afford 📱🥹
Keeping just enough aside to survive and continue travelling 🌍✨

And honestly, I’m so glad it all started from Maharashtra 🌧️⛰️
A place that had been on my bucket list for the longest time ❤️

That one scary decision ended up changing everythiNg!

It’s crazy how one conversation in Sikkim changed everything 🥹

Back at Zostel Gangtok, a friend I met there — casually said,“Whenever you come to Maharashtra, I’ll show you around.” 🤝🌿

At that time, the idea of taking a solo trip felt TERRIFYING 😭✈️But somehow, with a little push from my parents and a lot of courage, I finally said yes. ❤️

That’s how I ended up experiencing my first-ever Maharashtra monsoon with 🌧️🥾

And honestly… there has been no looking back ever since.2 years later, I’m still on the road 🛣️✨

Started with one random “ab aa hi jaa” trip from Kolkata to Maharashtra 🌧️⛰️
No plans. No camera skills. No confidence to travel solo 😭

Just a confused girl trying to figure life out… who accidentally fell in love with travelling, storytelling, and the chaos of the road 🎥🧳✨

And somehow, that one trip changed the next 1.5 years of my life ❤️

It was scary AF, but I made it! 😭✨

1.5 years of travelling through different opportunities 🌍🫶

What started with random trips with friends while trying to figure out life… somehow turned into creating content and travelling through opportunities I never even planned for 🥹🎥✈️

Sometimes volunteering at hostels 🏡🎒
Sometimes collaborating with travel & lifestyle brands 🤝📸
Sometimes leading group trips with complete strangers 🧳🌄
Sometimes just saying YES to every opportunity that could keep me on the road 🚞💨

Honestly, I never had a perfect plan 🫠
I just knew one thing — I wanted to travel 🌎❤️

And somewhere along the way… Rayon Roads happened ✨

So here’s me documenting this entire chaotic, beautiful, unpredictable 1.5-year journey within the next 90 days 🎬🛣️🌤️
