Nothing comes close to the rolling green tea hills of Long Cốc in Vietnam 🇻🇳 😍

As the sun slowly dipped behind the distant hills of Vietnam, the tea plantations began to glow in a quiet, emerald hush. The rolling slopes, perfectly carved and tended by patient hands, looked like waves frozen mid-motion — flowing endlessly toward the horizon.

A few lone trees stood tall along the crest, silhouetted against a pastel sky painted with soft strokes of orange and lavender. There was something deeply calming about the symmetry of it all — the gentle curves of the land, the faint mist settling in the valleys, and the silence that only countryside evenings seem to hold.

Hymn of the canopy 🌿

We stepped into the bamboo forest just as the light began to soften, and suddenly the world outside felt very far away. The air was cooler here, quieter too — broken only by the faint rustle of leaves high above. Tall bamboo stalks stretched endlessly toward the sky, swaying gently like guardians of an ancient sanctuary.

I found myself drawn to a single fern in the foreground, delicate yet intricate, its veins glowing as sunlight filtered through the canopy. Above it, the bamboo formed a living ceiling, layers of green folding into one another, creating a natural cathedral of light and shadow.

Standing there, looking up, I felt small in the most comforting way. Surrounded by towering stems and filtered sunlight, time slowed. It wasn’t just a forest — it was a reminder of quiet strength, of growth that happens patiently and without noise.

Where the Tide Breathes Fire ☀️

As the sun dipped toward the horizon, the shoreline transformed into a canvas of warmth and motion. The golden light brushed against the textured rocks and seaweed-covered foreground, turning every detail into something almost otherworldly. Waves surged gently through the narrow channel, spilling like liquid silk into the waiting sea.

There was something grounding about this moment — the steady rhythm of the tide against ancient stone, the quiet surrender of water flowing exactly where it was meant to. The sunset didn’t shout for attention; it unfolded softly, painting the sky in layers of amber and rose.

Standing there, watching the ocean breathe in and out beneath a burning sky, I felt that rare stillness — the kind that reminds you that nature doesn’t rush, yet everything arrives exactly on time.

Vijaya Vittala Temple in a new perspective

From this angle, the Vijaya Vittala Temple is not presented in its usual grandeur — it is revealed in layers.
Instead of centering the iconic stone chariot or the towering gopuram, the frame chooses the guardian in the foreground. The carved lion dominates the scene, massive and textured, almost alive in silhouette. The sun does not rise over the temple — it rises through it, piercing a narrow gap in the stone. Light becomes a character, not just illumination.
The perspective creates depth across centuries:
foreground — the watchful guardian,
midground — the open, echoing courtyard,
background — the weathered gateway standing against the sky.
It feels intimate yet monumental.
Not a postcard view — but a quiet conversation between light and stone, witnessed from the shadows.

Where time didn’t vanish, it settled into stone 🗿

Scattered across a quiet, rocky hillscape near Hampi, Hirebenakal feels less like a destination and more like a pause in time. Thousands of ancient megaliths lie weathered but unbroken, standing as silent witnesses to lives, rituals, and beliefs that existed long before history found a voice.

There’s no grandeur here in the usual sense—only stillness, wind, stone, and a deep sense of continuity. Walking among these structures, you don’t just observe the past; you feel its calm endurance, reminding you how small moments can outlast centuries.

Also termed as the "Valley of the dead", hundreds of dolmens (three-stone chambers) and other stone structures dating from roughly 1200 BCE to 200 BCE, used as burial chambers or for storing remains.

Hampi through my wide angle lens

Stepped out of my comfort zone during my Hampi trip. Shooting without a tripod felt strangely liberating — it pushed me to experiment, to try new angles, and I ended up with a handful of images I’m genuinely excited about. Hampi was my creative retreat; its landscapes and ancient ruins kept knocking the wind out of me. It was overwhelming in the best possible way.

Lunar Eclipse 2025🌒

*view on max brightness*

A little late to the party, but better late than never 😬

Witnessing this celestial event was nothing short of surreal. As the Earth's shadow slowly crept across the moon’s face, the familiar silver glow gave way to a deep, fiery red — a quiet transformation that felt almost sacred. In that stillness, time seemed to slow. The universe revealed its rhythm, reminding me of how small we are and yet how deeply connected we remain to the vastness above. To see the moon cloaked in crimson light, suspended in silence, was a moment I’ll never forget
