The Department of Photography, BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus, in alliance with Equentis , presents you the 13th edition of our Annual Photography Exhibition and competition - Pixels '26 - on the occasion of World Photography Day, on 19th August. Pixels is an open exhibition and an opportunity to display the best photographs you have.
The themes selected for this year are as follows:
• Vultus
• Kinesis
• Primal
• Pangea
• Candescence
The following guidelines regarding submission must be strictly followed:
1. Copyright: if an image is selected for Pixels, the entrant agrees and authorizes The Department of Photography to create copies, hang on walls, use on the internet, or in books, publications, documents and/or media created by The Department of Photography. In such usage, The Department of Photography will give due credit to the participant. The entrant also agrees that the Department of Photography may use the selected/exhibited work to promote photography and/or the photographer at its discretion.
2. There is NO fee of any kind to enter the exhibition/competition and there is no limit on the number of entries per participant.
3. Do not mark your images with any kind of watermark (your name, copyright sign etc.) An image containing any watermark will not be considered for the exhibition.
4. The submitted entries can involve basic photo editing and colour manipulation, but any type of layer editing and photo manipulation using Photoshop or any other software are highly discouraged for all themes.
5. Entries will be judged on the basis of the idea behind the photograph, picture quality, conformity with the theme and the composition.
Submissions will be accepted via our website (Link in bio: https://www.dopybitsgoa.com/pixels). Make sure to read the full list of rules and guidelines before submitting your entries.
Entries shall be accepted until 11:59 pm, 17th August 2025. No entries submitted after this shall be entertained. Rename your photos as "Theme_YourName_SerialNumber".
The best 20 entries from each theme will be put on display on our page on World Photography Day.
