FORGIVENESS - Meaning of this word, the depth of it is what I have learned. Not just from the point of view of the person forgiving, but also from the point of view of the seeker. We often don’t realise while forgiving, how does the seeker feel. The amount of thoughts, heart not being at the right place, all the doings, what makes a seeker, while he’s seeking forgiveness, is feeling. To remind ourselves to forgive, it’s also important to seek forgiveness. We all have at a certain point of time in life. That feeling is worth remembering! For someone who’s seeking forgiveness, from the lines of a great guru - “It’s important to first forgive yourself, then seek forgiveness. Even if not, god’s somewhere within every human, seeking forgiveness from the god within them forgives for more than half of what you’re feeling is done”. Sab me bhagwaan dekhoge to dwesh ki bhaavna rahegi hi nahi (If you see a person, not as a human, but as your god sitting within them, you’ll never feel any wrong has been done to you). As you both are part of one divine. And to forgive yourself - “Ekant, thehraav and sabr” is what you need right now. Life’s too short to hold on to the negative, life’s too much to live while forgiving, nurturing, loving!
