It's that time of the year when the city is decked up in lights, and almost everyone on Park Street is seen wearing a Santa cap and clicking selfies. Park Street itself seems like a venue for a party, where there are food stalls and musicals with party lights, and people coming here are all part of one open-air party.

This place falls on the way while visiting the more popular Mirik Lake and Pashupati market. It offers good views of the opposite mountains and valleys down below. The famous village of Maneybhanjan (which is the starting point for Sandakphu trek) and the walking trail to sandakphu can be seen clearly from here. There isn't a lot to do here, but there are a few small eateries and its a good photo stop for a 15-30 minutes break.

Sandy toes. Sunkissed nose. Good times and tan lines. High tides & Good vibes. The ocean is everything I want to be. Beautiful, mysterious, wild and free. I can never have too much of beaches.

This shot turned out to be magical amidst the crushing waves into those li'l toes and the sun shining up bright like the guardian angel.

The view from the entrance of Mehrangarh Fort. It stands a hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. Burnished red sand stone, imposing, invincible and yet with a strange haunting beauty that beckons . Much has been written about the Citadel of the Sun, for truly, it is one of the most impressive in all Rajasthan. So colossal are its proportions that Rudyard Kipling called it “ the work of giants”. Today, it is acknowledged as one of the best preserved fort in India.

The beautiful view of Chittor from the Chittorgarh Fort, Rajasthan.

Chittorgarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day town of Chittor. It sprawls over a hill 180 m in height spread over an area of 280 ha above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River.
