When I first met Happy and Nikkie, what stayed with me wasn’t just their story, but the quiet pride with which they carried their roots. Living in California, yet deeply anchored in their culture, there was something beautifully untouched about that. Nikkie spoke about Happy’s love for music, how he plays the harmonium, and in that moment, an idea gently took shape. I told her I wanted to capture them in that space..something intimate, something real, where Happy would sit, play, and sing just for her and thats how we shot this beautiful moment.

Deepika and Sandeep tied the knot in Goa, held gently by nature’s quiet grace. Under open skies and ancient trees, the ceremony felt deeply spiritual, unrushed, soulful, and rooted in presence.

For us, documenting their wedding was also a spiritual experience. Watching them so effortlessly in their element: grounded, joyful, and deeply in love was pure magic. Amidst the whispers of the forest and the simplicity of the rituals, love felt sacred, expansive, and alive.

When Sandeep and Deepika spoke about the cacao ceremony, they spoke of it as a sacred pause , a ritual that had quietly held their love through different seasons of life. It wasn’t about tradition alone, but presence about listening, feeling, and returning to love with softness. As we witnessed it, the camera faded into the background. Some weddings feel less like celebrations and more like quiet poetry. Monil and Cameron’s intimate Goa wedding was exactly that …simple, honest, and filled with love that spoke softly but deeply. With the ocean as witness and only their closest people by their side, they promised forever.
