Our last trip was to Pelling, a charming hill station in the north-east Indian state of Sikkim, where we witnessed the most magical sunrises, chased waterfalls, visited beautiful monasteries & ate countless momos! ❤️

Bhitarkanika National Park, situated in the state of Odisha, is the second largest mangrove ecosystem in India, after Sundarbans.. It is home to saltwater crocodile, Indian python, king cobra, chital deer, wild boar, rhesus monkey, monitor lizard and numerous bird species, with saltwater crocodile being the primary attraction..
Unlike other national parks, you can go for a nature walk inside Bhitarkanika as there are no carnivores present.. There's a stretch of land in Bhitarkanika Forest Block/Bird Sanctuary which runs for around 9 kms and gives you an amazing opportunity of experiencing the mangrove forest..
We were in Bhitarkanika exactly this time last year & this was our last trip before the lockdown happened!
