Light painting is a photography technique where a photographer uses a long exposure and various light sources to create images with streaks, shapes, and patterns. The photographer moves the light source(s) around in front of the camera during the exposure, creating unique and often abstract visuals. This technique can be used to capture anything from simple, elegant lines to complex, intricate designs. Light painting is a fun and creative way to experiment with photography and can produce stunning and unexpected results. This picture was shot at Sambhar Lake, Rajasthan. Sambhar Lake is the largest saltwater lake in India, located in the state of Rajasthan. It is a popular destination for birdwatching and photography, as it is home to a wide variety of migratory birds such as flamingos, pelicans, and storks. The lake is surrounded by hills and desert, making it a scenic and unique destination. Visitors can also visit the nearby Sambhar Salt Lake Town, which is known for its salt production and local handicrafts.

Pangot is a small picturesque hamlet famous for its jungles and birds, located just 15 kms from Nainital. It is a birdwatchers paradise and has more than 300 species of birds in and around the area.
The drive to reach Pangot is through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, the main habitats for excellent birding. These forests are dominated by thick Oak, Pine and Rhododendron. The streams passing through the area make it even more picturesque.
