Mahashivratri special besha of Sri Aghora Rudra Markandeya of Purushottam Keshtra 🌺
ध्यायेन्नित्यं महेशं रजतगिरिनिभं चारुचन्द्रावतंसं
रत्नाकल्पोज्ज्चलाङ्गं परशुमृगवराभीतिहस्तं प्रसन्नम् ।
पद्मासीनं समन्तात् स्तुतममरगणैर्व्याघ्रकृत्तिं वसानं
विश्वाद्यं विश्वबीजं निखिलभयहरं पञ्चवक्त्रं त्रिनेत्रम् ॥
चाँदी के पर्वत के समान जिनकी श्वेत कान्ति है, जो सुन्दर चन्द्रमा को आभूषण रूप धारण करते हैं, रत्नमय अलंकार से जिनका शरीर उज्ज्वल है, जिनके हाथों में परशु तथा मृग, वर और अभय मुद्राएँ हैं, जो प्रसन्न हैं, पद्म के आसन पर विराजमान हैं, देवतागण जिनके चारों ओर खड़े होकर स्तुति करते हैं, जो बाघ की खाल पहनते हैं, जो विश्व के आदि, जगत् की उत्पत्ति के बीज और समस्त भयों को हरनेवाले हैं, जिनके पाँच मुख और तीन नेत्र हैं, उन महेश्वर का प्रतिदिन ध्यान करें ।
"One should meditate daily upon Lord Maheshwara, whose white complexion resembles a mountain of silver, and who wears the beautiful crescent moon as an ornament. His body shines brilliantly with jewels, and in his hands, he holds an axe and a deer, while his other two hands display the Varada (boon-granting) and Abhaya (fear-dispelling) mudras.
He is ever-blissful, seated in the lotus posture (Padmasana), surrounded by deities who stand all around him in prayer. Clad in a tiger’s skin, he is the origin of the universe, the seed of the world's creation, and the destroyer of all fears. He possesses five faces and three eyes."
