Mahsa Amini, A 22-year-old woman, was arrested on September 13th by Iran's morality police for allegedly violating Iran's strict dress code that requires women to cover their hair properly with a scarf. She died last month while in their custody. That sparked outrage, resulting in nationwide protests. Women were cutting their hair in solidarity and setting their hijab on fire in public to chants of "Women, life, freedom" and "Death to the dictator"—a reference to the Supreme Leader. According to Iran's Human Rights Group, Iran’s security forces have killed at least 233+ protesters so far, including children, since the protests began in mid-September.

Faith is a very personal thing, could be superior to you but not to others. So, one should not impose it on everyone. Some like Rooh afza and some don’t, as simple as that. We should respect an individual's choice as long as it’s not harming anyone physically or mentally! Nothing is superior to love. More power to all the women of Iran, Love and support from India.
