Black and White Photography – 7 Stunning Techniques !!!
.Capture in RAW mode: To know about RAW click here. Post production and editing the image is always easy when you capture in raw. In-case your camera does not include RAW mode, then capture in colour and do the editing on your computer
.Reduce the ISO: Reduce the ISO to the maximum so that noise does not appear. The noise/grain is more evident in monochrome photographs and thus please keep this point in mind before clicking.
.Click in contrast situations for best results. By contrast we mean that you outdoor should have mixing colours and hues such as overcast sky.
.Architectural, Travel and Street are most common photographs where maximum people prefer to take B & W shots. However emotions in portrait photography convey deeper meanings in Monochrome.
.Pre-visualize the subject in B & W even though the eyes are seeing the colours. This trick helps the photographer immensely in taking the shots as they are able to judge the shadows, lines and the shapes.
.By using Flash you can include wider range of Greys apart from Black and White in your photographs.
.Last but not the least; you can use Silver Effex which is a great Photoshop tool to bring life to the Black and White Pictures.
