Vivek Through Lens Vivek Through Lens Hello! I am a photographer(?) living near Seattle, Washington. Photography is my passion rather than profession. That is when I was hooked!

One of my dad’s prized possessions was a Yashika camera. given it was film camera, use of that camera was pretty rationed. I still remember him teaching me how to frame and how to focus on that film camera. I loved taking photos with my dad’s Yashika whenever he allowed me. It took me a while to get my own camera but always liked looking at old photos. Now, I like dabbling with it in my free time

and take photos of everything and anything. With camera, I stop and appreciate beauty that is all around. It teaches me to find beauty in everyday objects. I love that aspect more than the technical aspects of photography.

Hampi, located in Karnataka, India, is a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned as the14th-century capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Founded in 14th century, at its peak, it was a prosperous metropolis and a hub for arts and trade. Around 1500 CE, Hampi (Vijayanagara) was the second-largest city in the world. Would have been fun to photograph it then 🙂
