District Kishtwar Honoured with Har Ghar Tiranga Vande Mataram Award 2026
District Kishtwar has once again brought pride to Jammu & Kashmir by securing top positions in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with its Nodal Officer Pawan Kotwal receiving the prestigious Har Ghar Tiranga Vande Mataram Award 2026 from Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha.
The award was presented during a ceremony held at the Botanical Garden, Srinagar, recognising the district’s remarkable performance and contribution to the national campaign.
Kishtwar achieved an impressive 1st rank in Phase 1, 2nd rank in Phase 2 and 3rd rank in the Special Phase, reflecting the district administration’s sustained efforts towards promoting the spirit of patriotism and the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
The award-winning moment was captured in a crystal-clear video shared by the Culture Department, highlighting the recognition received by the district’s Nodal Officer.
The achievement is being seen as another proud milestone for District Kishtwar, showcasing its active participation in initiatives aimed at strengthening the spirit of national unity, patriotism and service to the nation.
