The Phear's Lane, previously known as Chunagali, is the only "Kebab Gali" of Kolkata with numerous old kebab shops serving a wide range of kebabs, each having their distinctive taste. Adam's Kebab shop, which is about 150 years old is the oldest shop in Phear's Lane. They are famous for their authentic Suta or Sutli Kebab and Boti Kebab. The name, Suta Kebab is derived from the use of Suta or cotton thread to bind the kebabs instead of any binding material. It is served with chopped onions, chillies, a small piece of lemon and some curd. The taste is heavenly. The price of the Suta Kebab is ₹ 60/- per plate. So drop in here whenever your mouth craves for kebabs.
