art. Still-Photography is the basic of all forms of Photography.Therefore, it is very much necessary to acquire technical knowledge and aesthetic sense about Still-Photography. The aim of BENGAL PHOTOGRAPHY INSTITUTE (BPI) is to blend the eternal power of creativity with professionalism. We are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of renowned filmmaker Shri Raja Sen. He was closely associated with the Bengal Photography Institute for many years, from inaugurating the Institute’s photography exhibition to participating in and supporting various activities of the Institute.
We have lost a much-loved and exceptionally talented person. For all of us, this is an irreparable loss.

We pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
