All Kerala Photographers Association Thank you for your continued support! Through our efforts, we managed to get the Photography Service Tax imposed by the Union Government in 2001 revoked.

This page was created to support the AKPA, now akpa has an official page, but we will continue to use this space to share resources, industry news, and foster a community for photographers. Ours is the only organization in the country to have incorporated in its by-law a clause that prevents members from occupying the same post for more than two years in a row. Convinced the state government to i

ntroduce a welfare fund, apart from other benefits, for the members. Succeeded in bringing photography under the ambit of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi’s annual awards and exhibitions.
